A Real MVP is born – Release Notes, Powered by AI

This is the first release that actually allows to produce AI generated product updates based on completed Linear work items. These items accumulate in a pool and you can synthesize them into a single, polished release note with AI. The result is a coherent narrative that reads like something your team actually wrote, not a raw list of ticket titles. The UX and concepts in the app still suck, but hey... we have a first working version! 🎉

New Features

• Completed items from Linear flow into a source item pool instead of immediately becoming draft updates, giving you time to accumulate work before publishing anything.

• You can now select multiple pending source items and generate a single cohesive product update in one step — the AI synthesizes everything into a unified release note rather than treating each item separately.

• Generated updates now read as polished, narrative-style release notes rather than a mechanical list of changes, thanks to improved AI prompting focused on quality and coherence.

• You can regenerate a release note at any time from its original source items, making it easy to get a fresh take or refine the output without starting from scratch.

Improvements

• Each source item now captures rich context including type, title, description, labels, and Linear metadata, so the AI has everything it needs to produce accurate, meaningful summaries.

• Source items and published updates are now properly linked through a flexible relationship model, making it easy to trace which work items informed a given release note.

• AI generation now uses a structured output format under the hood, making results more consistent and reliable every time you generate an update.

• Both automatic webhook events and manual Linear syncs now correctly route completed items into the source pool, ensuring nothing gets published before you're ready.
