Smarter Auto-Generation & a Cleaner Editing Experience
This release brings fully automated draft generation to your workspace, with a simplified threshold model that's much easier to configure. We've also polished up the UI with cleaner headers, buttons, and dashboard layout, squashed a couple of bugs affecting draft editing, and made several quality-of-life improvements across the board.
New Features
- Drafts can now be automatically generated and published based on your Linear activity — no manual triggering needed. Once enough completed items accumulate, the system creates a draft on your behalf, and you can configure the minimum item count for auto-publishing right from workspace settings.
- A new sync button in the update editor lets you pull in the latest completed Linear items without leaving your draft. No more navigating back to the dashboard mid-edit.
Improvements
- The auto-generation threshold settings have been simplified: instead of two separate thresholds that quietly interacted with each other, there's now just one — the minimum number of items needed to auto-publish. Any newly completed item will keep your rolling draft up to date automatically.
- AI-generated updates now group related work into a single, cohesive bullet instead of listing every item individually, so your changelogs read more naturally and are easier to scan.
- The rolling draft now lives inside the Drafts section on the dashboard rather than floating above it as a separate element, keeping everything in one tidy place. It's always sorted to the top of the list so it's easy to find.
- A UI polish pass tidied up headers, buttons, and section labels throughout the app. Page and sidebar headers are taller and easier to read, button labels and casing are more consistent, and actions like saving or deleting a draft use cleaner, more intuitive controls.
Bug Fixes
- Removing a source item from a draft now correctly refreshes the editor content — previously the old text would stick around even after the item was removed.
- Fixed an issue where the daily sync and auto-generation cron job wasn't running reliably, ensuring your drafts are kept up to date on schedule.
