Introducing Plans and Update quality improvements ✨

Launchlane now has full billing support built in, including subscription plans, usage metering, and the ability to upgrade or change your plan directly inside the app. This release also adds analytics tracking across the subscription lifecycle, and tightens up how source material is processed before generation.

New Features

• Stripe billing and plans — Subscribe, upgrade, or change your plan without leaving LaunchLane. Billing is powered by Stripe and includes usage metering so your plan stays matched to how you actually use the product.

• Dedicated subdomains — The marketing site, product app, and public changelogs now each live on their own URL, so every part of LaunchLane has a clear, predictable address.

Improvements

• Subscription lifecycle analytics — Key billing events are now tracked through PostHog so product and monetization signals stay visible as your user base grows. Analytics run server-side and are best-effort, so a tracking hiccup never interrupts a billing flow.

• Bold lead-in bullet format — Updates now format Features and Improvements bullets with a short bold phrase followed by the detail, making it easier to scan what changed at a glance.

• Cleaner source processing — PR descriptions and issue details are now cleaned before they reach the generation step, so stray markup and noise in your source material no longer bleeds into the final output.

• Consistent update style — Style rules are now enforced from a single centralized system, which means formatting stays uniform across all generated updates without any manual cleanup.
